Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?
media: television
Early in 2003, W. Donnie Brown, owner of Five Star Floral Design and Events, was approached by E! Entertainment's Style Network to appear as a cast member on a new reality show about wedding professionals. The show would be called "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?"
After a month of filming, and a much longer editing period, the show aired Tuesday, September 9, 2003. There were thirteen episodes in the first season, and Five Star was featured on four of those episodes.
The episodes have been played on both the Style Network and E! Television many times over & have gathered a significant audience. The Dallas Morning News (a local Dallas newspaper) even published an article on the show.
We were not sure that this was something in which we really
wanted to do, long term. So, we did not participate
in the second season. However, the positive response
to the first season reruns was so great that when the producers
once again approached Donnie to be a cast member in the third
season, he agreed.
The third season aired June through August of 2005. The
fourth season is about to begin filming suring September
2005, with the episodes scheduled to air early December of
2005.
Season four is well underway, and we are already speaking
with the production company about weddings for
the fifth season. New episodes air on Tuesday
nights, on Style
Network, and episodes are rebroadcast throughout the
week. Our season four episodes have already aired,
but you can easily catch the reruns if you check
your local listings.
